From running multiple half marathons and one full marathon to playing competitive tennis, living an active lifestyle has always been a priority in my life. Because of my passion for fitness and overall health and wellness, I decided to immerse myself in the industry. I moved to Tampa Bay, Florida in 2010 to receive an education through the National Personal Training Institute. I studied from the NSCA curriculum and participated in hands on training experiences every day. I’ve worked at various gyms, but ultimately realized I needed to pursue my purpose in life. Thus, Never Settle Fitness was born. As a six year veteran trainer specializing in fat loss, I have come to know that the willpower to lose fat, gain muscle, and live a healthy lifestyle is not enough. If it was we would all be fit. You need God's power to make real life change.
My name is Nathan Reynolds, but you can call me Nate. I have been training clients on fitness for 4 years, and I'm currently on pace to receive my NASM & ACSM certifications from Bryan University. I'm a former standout basketball player from Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, IN. Being healthy isn't just a hobby for me, it's a lifestyle, and career. Training with purpose and never settle for anything less than God's best for your life is the motto here at our gym. We believe in faith and fitness; combining mind, body, and spirit!
I received my undergraduate degree with honors from Purdue University in 2012. Now I live in San Francisco and work at Google as a Program Manager. I've always been interested in starting and growing businesses. My first entrepreneurial venture was a non-profit foundation called Never Settle that has fundraised over $200,000 for global humanitarian causes.
I manage Never Settle Fitness's finances, operations, and marketing. Basically I focus on running the business so that Larissa and Nate can focus 100% on making results happen for our clients. I’ve completed two marathons, dozens of half-marathons and adventure races. My fitness dream is to compete in the IronMan triathlon.
